Hello and Welcome to the Bent Neurophysiology Lab Website.
The Bent Neurophysiology Lab is located at the University of Guelph, in the College of Biological Sciences, Department of Human Health and Nutritional Science.
We hope that this website acts as an educational source towards both our focus topics and ongoing research projects. Under the tab labeled “Why Skin” you can find information as to the importance of skin as well as why it is vital that we continue to research the skin and its sensory components. Additionally, under the tab labeled “Ongoing Research” you will find a list of our ongoing projects, as well as their background, purpose and eligibility requirements. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these studies, please do not hesitate to reach out at the email(s) listed.
Additionally, we hope to use this website as a means of communication between our lab and volunteer subjects/participants. Under the tab labelled “Participants” you will find the necessary information regarding expectations prior to, during, and following arrival to be a participant within the lab. Additionally, this tab contains detailed explanations regarding the various experimental methods/techniques used within the lab. You may also get to know your researcher by visiting the “Lab Members” tab.
Lastly, under the “More” menu you will find a list of both featured and recent publications, specific to our lab. As well, there is a “Contact Us” page for direct inquires.
